A Proud Maldivian Vision
Island Beverages Maldives Pvt Ltd (IBM) was established on 9th December 2002 as a subsidiary of Malé Water and Sewerage Company Pvt Ltd (MWSC), with 51% of equity held by the SOE and the remaining 49% owned by Champa Brothers Maldives Pvt Ltd.
Over its 20+ years of operations, IBM has achieved a number of key milestones, including rising to the top of the local bottled water market. Today, the company maintains its leadership with its flagship product, TaZa.
The company operates two production facilities in the Maldives: one in Malé City and another in Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi. IBM’s production is supported by an extensive delivery fleet, the largest of its kind in the Maldives, ensuring same-day delivery within the Greater Malé region. To guarantee timely deliveries in the outer atolls, IBM partners with more than 50 agents nationwide.
IBM’s most valuable asset is its dedicated team, whose commitment drives seamless operations and administration while consistently upholding the highest standards of quality in production and customer service.
The seed planted in 2002 has grown into an enterprise reaching every corner of the island nation. Today, IBM is deeply rooted in the community, continuously innovating to better hydrate the Maldives.
